For some couples, repeated IVF failures for no obvious reasons, or ended in very early miscarriage (chemical pregnancy or less than 8 weeks), the cause may be immunological mismatch, or the body rejecting the embryos because it not “self”. Imagine that putting embryos into a potential mother’s uterus is an organ transplantation.

Immuno tolerance is how the body reacts to allow modulation of its rejection mechanisms – NK cells, antigen-antibody reactions, lymphocyte function, and other pro-inflammatory agents – so that the embryos will grow in an acceptance mode.

Although this concept is universally accepted, the study of the factors, and hoe to treat are not universally agreed. We have partnered with University of Chicago (USA) to a structured immune-modulation treatment which is effective and brought about many successful pregnancies.
